Field Supervisor – Bushlink

Location: Brookvale, NSW

Employment Type: Casual or Permanent Part-Time (workdays available across Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:00pm)

About the Role

We are seeking passionate, reliable, and suitably qualified people to join our team as a Field Supervisor. In this rewarding role, you will supervise, train, and support a team of employees with intellectual disability as they carry out meaningful bush regeneration and garden maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support team members with intellectual disability to perform onsite environmental tasks

  • Carry out best-practice bush regeneration and gardening activities, including weeding, planting, pruning, rubbish removal, and maintaining tidy and safe worksites

  • Liaise with the back office regarding work tasks, safety consultation, and reporting

  • Transport the team and equipment safely between the Brookvale base and work sites (Bushlink vehicle provided)

  • Engage with school students through our Schools Inclusion Program and have a current Working With Children Check

  • Lead volunteer and corporate volunteer groups in bushland projects

  • Assist with onsite training or administration tasks during inclement weather

  • Provide first aid when necessary

  • Attend monthly Bushlink staff meetings

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated field experience in bush regeneration, professional gardening or similar

  • Ability to supervise and support small teams

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Understanding of safe work principles and practice

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Current Driver Licence

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)     

Desirable Criteria

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent

  • Experience supporting people with disability

  • Experience working with volunteers, corporate groups, or school students
