One of the most popular ways businesses engage with Bushlink is through our Corporate Volunteering Experience. Fun, rewarding team days where your employees get out of the office and into nature. We host tailored team-building days where your staff join Bushlink crews on real environmental projects. Think of it as a day of team bonding, community service, and outdoor activity all in one. Your team might spend the day removing invasive weeds, planting natives, clearing walking trails, or restoring a local creek, tangible work with immediate results. Bushlink’s supported employees will work alongside your team, sharing bushcare techniques and their passion for the environment.
The benefits for your business are tremendous. Your employees will:
Build teamwork and morale in an informal, natural setting. There’s nothing like working together outdoors to spark camaraderie and fresh perspectives.
Learn new skills in bush regeneration and gain insight into environmental issues in your local area.
Experience inclusion firsthand by partnering with Bushlink’s team members. Many volunteers say the highlight is getting to know our crew and seeing their dedication. It’s eye-opening and heartwarming in equal measure.
Make a visible difference in the community in just one day. Teams often feel a great sense of accomplishment when they see the pile of weeds they’ve cleared or the area they’ve restored by day’s end.
And importantly, corporate volunteer days are flexible, we can build a package to suit your needs. Whether you have a small group of 5 or a department of 50, we’ll find a suitable project site and set up activities so everyone can participate safely and meaningfully. All tools, training, and guidance are provided by Bushlink. It’s an unforgettable way to contribute to the environment and support inclusive employment at the same time.
Partnering with First Nations
At Bushlink, we honour and embed First Nations principles by partnering with Aboriginal experts to help curate and guide our projects. We recognise the deep cultural connection First Nations peoples have with Country and actively work to incorporate traditional ecological knowledge into our bush regeneration and inclusion programs. Where appropriate, we can also facilitate Aboriginal-led walkthroughs of our sites, offering participants and corporate partners a powerful opportunity to learn from local custodians about the history, stories, and sustainable practices rooted in the land. This approach enriches our work, fosters respect, and deepens our shared connection to Country.
