Bushlink proudly offers a Community Training Team, made up of volunteers of all abilities, who provide pro-bono bush regeneration services to local charities and community organisations while building their own skills in bush regeneration.
This initiative not only supports important environmental goals but also fosters inclusion and meaningful community participation for adults with disabilities..
Our dedicated team operates every Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing real-world volunteering experience and ongoing training in bush regeneration. Although the positions are unpaid, the program plays a vital role in building work readiness, fostering community access, and opening pathways to open employment.
We are currently welcoming expressions of interest from local organisations in need of bush regeneration or gardening support. If your charity, community group, or nonprofit organisation could benefit from our services, we invite you to contact us to join our Community Service Waiting List.
“Thank you so much for your productive visit today. Was so awesome to meet Nick and see Billy, Ben and Robbie again. The team blitzed weeding of half of our tyre wall after helping me to identify which were definitely weeds and then learnt about how to propagate grape cuttings from our recent prunings, which they then potted up and put in our propagation shed. It was great to have them here with us.”
